On June 25, 1945, 288 representatives from 50 countries, including China, gathered in San Francisco, and unanimously adopted the Charter of the United Nations, with the signing ceremony held on June 26. The Charter laid out the UN’s purposes, principles, rights, obligations, and institutional framework, expressing humanity’s determination to prevent the scourge of war from recurring. A shared future is the prevailing trend of the times; win-win cooperation remains the right path for humanity. The international community should strengthen solidarity and collaboration, shoulder its responsibilities, and bring to life the ideals of transforming swords into ploughshares, peaceful development, fairness and justice.
